Paloma Fiorenzana
The Paloma is a Mexican classic: simple, citrusy, and incredibly refreshing. Here, the star is Gazosa La Fiorenzana Grapefruit, which brings a fresh, crisp “snap” to the drink—perfectly paired with tequila. It’s a cocktail that always works: for an aperitif, brunch, or a summer evening, and it also lends itself well to a more elevated version with a salted rim.
Ingredients
100 ml • Gazosa La Fiorenzana Grapefruit
40 ml • Tequila
10 ml • Fresh lime juice
as needed • Salt (for the rim)
as needed • Ice
as needed • Grapefruit slice
Preparation
Prepare the rim (optional): rub a lime wedge along the rim of the glass, then dip it into a plate of salt (salting only half the rim is more elegant and practical).
Fill the glass (highball or tall tumbler) with ice to the top. Pour in the tequila (40 ml).
Add the lime juice (10–15 ml) and stir briefly (2 turns are enough).
Top up with Gazosa La Fiorenzana Grapefruit (100–120 ml), pouring it slowly. Stir gently 1–2 times.
Garnish with lime or grapefruit.
Tip
For a more aromatic version, add a thin slice of fresh chili.
