Chinotto Old Style

Chinotto is a flavor with character: bitter, citrusy, and deep. This cocktail is designed for you if you enjoy “grown-up” drinks with an intense yet smooth structure. Our Gazosa La Fiorenzana Chinotto makes the mix more dynamic and aromatic, lightening the spirit without overpowering it. Perfect as a bold aperitif or as an alternative after-dinner drink.

Ingredients

120 ml • Gazosa La Fiorenzana Chinotto
45 ml • Dark rum / Bourbon
as needed • Ice
as needed • Orange peel

Preparation

Choose your glass: a low tumbler (old fashioned). Add large ice: 2–3 big cubes or one block (it melts more slowly). Pour the spirit (40–45 ml) over the ice and stir for 5–6 seconds to chill it. Slowly add Gazosa La Fiorenzana Chinotto (100–120 ml). Stir just once, gently, to combine without losing too much carbonation. Garnish with an orange peel: express the oils over the drink (by squeezing it), then drop it in.

Tip

If you want more intensity, stick to about 100 ml of Gazosa La Fiorenzana Chinotto; for more freshness and drinkability, go up to 120 ml.
